All you need is love
They met a little over 10 years ago and their love has grown ever since. Last week, September 7th, Krystel and Eric pledged their love to each other on their wedding day.
To prepare for this great event, Krystel, her mother (of the heart) Marie-Anne, her friend Elayne and I got together to create their wedding invitations. It was such a joy to create a customized invitation. For her wedding, Krystel had chosen Basic Grey and Blackberry Bliss, with accents of white and shimmer paper. The white notecards were used for RSVPs.
After all the planning and preparation, the big day finally arrived. It was a wonderful day, a beautiful church ceremony, followed by an excellent meal shared among family and friends. Then, the party started with music, dancing and candy !
Little Mila, her parents’ pride and joy, was a delight. She was so well behaved all day and danced the night away, before falling into a toddler slumber in the loving arms of her grandfather.
It was only fitting to create a custom wedding card to celebrate this memorable occasion. I chose to use the shimmery white paper, with layers of galvanized metallic paper (retired). The rings were small slip rings from the hardware store, and the white polka dot tulle ribbon finished it off nicely.
On the inside, I slipped their gift behind a flower stem die cut the Flourish set.
We are so grateful that we were invited to share this memorable day with Krystel and Eric. All the best to the newlyweds.
