A birthday worth celebrating!

Last Friday was Yvon’s birthday and a birthday calls for a celebration. Yvon is a man of many talents: golf, volunteering, wood carving and, as of late, card making. It was a real pleasure to have him represent his gender at our recent Simple Stamping class for beginners.

Yvon dedicated many years as a volunteer on the board of our Amberwood Golf Course and it is fitting that we celebrate him. His card was a French version , but very similar to this one, inspired by Renee Trommler’s original. I love the copper foil paper and thought that it brought a little pop of shine. The stamp set is Colourful Seasons and the matching dies are Seasonal Layers.

This bundle covers all the seasons and is a must-have to celebrate birthdays all year long.
