LITTLE LADYBUG POP THROUGH CARD

I absolutely love the Little Ladybug Stamp Set, a hostess set during Sale-A-Bration, that you can get for FREE if you host a party with total sales of $375. This card is a pop through card that provides a bit of a surprise when you open it, as the flower will slip through the slit and remain on the inside of the card. Here is the video to show you how to make it. The supplies and instructions will follow on this page.

HOW TO

STEP 1: Score you base at 4-¼”

STEP 2: Stamp and colour your ladybug on the inside and stamp he sentiment to the right of the card. Set aside

STEP 3 : Punch out the scalloped circle from the Poppy Parade Layer and adhere the layer to the card base.

STEP 4: Run the Basic Black layer through the Big Shot with the Stone 3D embossing folder. Adhere to the Poppy Parade Layer.

STEP 5: Using the Classic Label Punch, line up the punch and push to the left side of the card as far as it goes. Punch. Then lower the punch, still as far as it goes, line up to the bottom and punch again. The slit will allow the flower to pop through.

STEP 6: Stamp the Ladybug and the flower and colour with Stampin Blends. Fussy cut them out, or use the coordinating dies if you have them. Then, take a ruler, position the flower over the slit to make sure it will slip through it. Score lightly to help it fold.

STEP 7: Score a piece of whisper white cardstock. Punch 2 circles with the 1-¼ punch, lining up the middle of the circle to the score line. Punch a third circle. Fold the two circles and adhere to each side of the scoreline on the flower. Adhere the third circle to the two halves of the circles glued to the flower. Position in the slit so it will easily pop through when the card is opened. Adhere with Tear and Tape (stronger tape). Once you are happy with the position. Stick the circle with the tear and tape and the flower attached to it, to the inside of the card.

STEP 8: Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the ladybug on the front of the card. Stamp your greeting on a piece of Whisper White. Punch out a black piece from a scrap Basic Black, adhere to the Poppy Parade Scallop Circle. Adhere the Whisper White sentiment layer to the black and adhere the Poppy Parade base to the front of your card.

STEP 9: Stamp and colour the little row of ladybugs on your envelope.
