WATERFALL CARD WITH WAY TO GOAT

There are some cards that are just so funny and cute that, as soon as you see the stamp set, you know exactly who will be receiving your card. Way to goat is one of those sets. With its cute greetings, sense of humour and the adorable goats, you can’t help but smile when you see them.

This week, I chose to use Way to goat to make a waterfall fancy fold card. Don’t worry, it may seem complicated at first glance, but it is much easier than you think. Just follow the steps and you’ll have your own waterfall card in no time at all.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Basic Grey Card Stock (121044) 4-¼ x 11” scored at 5-½, one strip of 1” x 4-¼ and one strip of 2” x 9”

  • In Good Taste Designer Series Paper: 5-¼ x 4”

  • Cinnamon Cider Card Stock (153078) 4 squares of 2 x 2”; one piece of 5-¼ x 4” for the inside layer.

  • Basic White 159276- 4 squares of 1-¾”, one piece of 4” x 1-3/4” and one piece of 5-¼ x 4” for the inside layer.

  • Way to Goat Stamp Set 152653

  • Scalloped Tag Topper Punch 133324

  • Memento Ink Pad 132708

  • Cinnamon Cider Ink Pad 153114

  • Cinnamon Cider Ribbon 152482

  • Stampin’ Blends :

    • Smoky Slate 154904

    • Ivory 154922

    • Old Olive 154892

HOW TO

  • Score and fold your card base.

  • Adhere your Designer Series Paper to the front of the card. Set aside.

  • Take the 9-inch strip and punch one end with Tag Topper Punch. Starting at the other end, score at 2”, 2-¾”, 3-½ and 4-¼”

  • Stamp your goats on the small white squares with one on the inside white layer. Colour with Blends. Adhere your small white squares to the Cinnamon Cider Squares. Stamp your greeting on the inside layer.

  • Assemble your waterfall: attach the first square to the fold, by placing adhesive only on the top part of the square. Line up and adhere the second and third squares the same way. Attach the 4” one to leave room to insert the ribbon on the bottom of the tag. Attach the Basic Grey 1-inch piece across the front of the card, adhering only the sides, so that the waterfall can be slipped behind it. Adhere the 4th square on top of the 1-inch Basic Grey strip to secure the waterfall. (If this seems confusing, follow the steps in the video).

  • Insert the ribbon and tie a knot. Use a glue dot to ensure the ribbon does not slip off the card.

  • Decorate your envelope.
