USE YOUR CHRISTMAS SETS ALL YEAR

If you loved your Christmas Stamp Sets as much as I do, you don’t want to just hide them come December 26. One of my favorites, this year, Frosted Foliage, inspired this card that was one of my swaps at the November OnStage event in Toronto.

Some of the images are appropriate in all seasons and I used this one with different InColor colours to make a “Thinking of You” card. The sentiment “You warm my heart” is appropriate in any season and so, well, heartwarming !

I used a base of Very Vanilla, cut 4-¼ x 11”, scored at 5-½” and a layer of Purple Posy cut at 4 x 5-¼”, and run through the Subtle Embossing Folder, for a delicate texture. Then, I gave the frame a bit more space with the last layer cut at 3-4 x 4-½”. That is where I stamped the image and coloured it with Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends. For a finishing touch, I gave it some rhinestones and one of the In Color faceted dots.. I used the extra ½” strip left from my Purple Posy layer to stamp my Itty Bitty Greeting and wrapped it with a bit of the beautiful Purple Posy scalloped linen ribbon.

Simple and cute… in all seasons !
