TIP TUESDAY: CLING STAMPS OR PHOTOPOLYMER?

Stampin’ Up! has two exclusive types of stamps. They are designed in either cling or photopolymer. Some of the differences and a few tips are included in the following video:

  1. Photopolymer are translucide so they are perfect for two-step stamping, repeating patterns and accurate alignment.

  2. Polymer stamps may retain a bit of pigment ink colour but it does not affect their performance with any other color, once they are cleaned. A new Stamp Cleaning Pad helps with this issue (item 147047)

  3. Cling stamps are high quality red rubber and have a very sticky adhesive image label. I suggest putting stamp to label and not the other way around (watch the video).

  4. You can use your markers to colour with your Cling stamps.

  5. Keep the protective layer as a mask - it has the exact shape of the stamp it was protecting. Just keep it in your case to have it handy if you need to mask something.
