THINGS ARE BETTER IN THREES

When I buy a stamp set, I like to think that I will use it for many occasions and many years to come. Has it ever happened to you to buy a set on a whim and then leave it unloved on your work table, for lack of inspiration? Try getting ideas for your new set by searching Pinterest, YouTube or Instagram to find ideas. If you type in the name of the stamp set on Pinterest of You Tube, you will get a variety of projects that demonstrators and crafters have posted. Use them as a starting point and CASE them by changing the colours, the card stock, the background or embellishments. One of the best resources to find ideas is the Stampin’ Up! catalogue (and idea book as it used to be called). I am disciplining myself (yeah right - it takes a lot of discipline to go play in my craft room) to make three different cards with every single stamp set I buy or earn for FREE (such as with Sale-A-Bration). It is so satisfying to know that you have used your set the way you intended to, and when you get going with it, the ideas will just come popping into your head to make even more. Try it, you’ll like it !
