DON'T THROW IT OUT IF YOU MESS UP

We can be an expert or a beginner and still make a booboo on a card. Happens to me very frequently, but I don’t necessarily have to start over.  Here are some little tips to save a card from ending up in the trash.

1.    You don’t like how your stamp turned out on your card front, turn the layer around and start over. Always two sides to each piece of paper !

As a rule, I stamp and decorate my card fronts first, leave the base aside. Then I stick the layers to the card base only when I am finished and satisfied. It’s easier to correct a layer than the whole card.

2. you have smudged the edge of your cardstock, you can use a sponge and sponge all around to make it look more deliberate

3.    If you have a bit of embossing powder stuck where it should’t be, you can simply add a rhinestone, a pearl or another little ornament to cover it up.

4.    Your card front is spectacular, you worked really hard, but when you stamp the inside greeting on your base, you get a ring or you stamp it not quite straight. Don’t throw out your entire card, just layer it up. Stamp your greeting on a piece of card stock, layered to look like it was meant to be and stick it on your to your base. Nobody will ever know.

5.    You have a bit of glue that seeped out from a layer. Use a glue eraser, it works miracles.
