EN-DEER-ING CHRISTMAS CARD

There are so many reasons to love Nature’s Beauty. One of them is the very detailed animal images and the beautiful trees and branches to complete the landscape. I chose the deer image to make one of my #simplestamping Christmas cards, this year.

I started with a base of Night of Navy, 8 ½ x 5-½” , scored at 4 ¼”. I layered a piece of Silver Foil paper and topped it with a piece of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper, that measures 5 x 3-¾”. Any of these lovely images worked for my background.

Then I stamped the deer on Whisper White, layered it on Night of Navy, used a bit of a blender pen on the bottom for snow, and tied a small bow with the pretty Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon. I stamped an greeting on the ½” cut off from my Whisper White, flagged the end and stuck it on with Dimensionals. Easy and still elegant. The inside has a piece of Whisper White, with a ½” strip of the DSP and a greeting in Night of Navy.

Nature’s Beauty is a very versatile set. It can be used year round and has the benefit of giving back to the community by contributing to Mental Health organizations around the country.
