A PRIZED PEONY IN YOUR GARDEN

Mother’s Day is this weekend. If you haven’t made her card yet, this is a beautiful soft idea to make her day special. WHAT YOU NEED

  • Prized Peony Stamp Set 152504

  • Peony Dies 152701

  • Gray Granite Cardstock 146043 8-1/2 X 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4 and 2-1/8”

  • Petal Pink Cardstock 146985 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 to cut 4 pieces of the die-cut flower

  • Basic Gray Cardstock 121044 - 2 squares of 3-3/4”

  • Basic White Cardstock 159276 - 2 squares of 3-1/2”

  • Scraps of Green vellum or any green cardstock for the leaves

  • Gray Granite Stampin’ Pad 147118

  • Petal Pink Stampin’ Pad 147108

  • Peony Garden Designer Series Paper 1 piece of 5-3/8” x 2 and 1 piece of 5-3/8 x 4-1/8”

  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels 144220

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Score and fold the card base

  • Adhere the Peony Garden DSP to the front panel and the inside panel.

  • Cut out the 4 pieces of the Petal Pink Peony and the two leaves with the dies.

  • Apply some Petal Pink ink to the tips and sides of the petals using a sponge dauber.

  • Assemble the flower by lining up the bottoms. Insert pieces into one another. When you are satisfied, adhere the layers to each other with glue dots.

  • Stamp the greeting of your choice on the bottom left corner of the Basic white cardstock

  • Adhere the flower to the basic White, positioning the leaves underneath. The leaves can be off the cardstock as the layer will be folded and will still be within the card base.

  • Stamp the small peony in the bottom left corner of the inside white layer. Stamp your greeting on this layer. Add a few rhinestone jewels.

  • Adhere to the Basic grey layers.

  • Centre the basic grey layer on the inside. Adhere with the adhesive of your choice.

  • Place adhesive on the DSP layer of the front flap. Then line up the Basic grey top layer to the inside layer and when they are straight, place the left part on the flap with the adhesive.

  • Decorate your envelope
