Here comes Snowman Season ...
Snowman Season is approaching… even if I would like to deny the approaching winter, these cute little guys make me smile. It is a card, but also a gift card holder for those difficult to shop for people on your list.
WHAT YOU NEED
1 piece of Thick Whisper White card stock, measuring 4-¼ x 11”, scored at 2-¼ and 5-½.
1 piece of Whisper White cardstock measuring 5 x 3-¾” and one piece measuring 3-¾” x 2-¼, plus some left over white to stamp the snowman and punch him out.
1 piece of Seaside Spray measuring 5-¼ x 4” and one piece measuring 4” x 2-½”
1 piece of Feels like Frost (on the shiny side) measuring 4” x 2” for the inside gift card holder.
Snowfall Accents Puff Paint
Memento Ink Pad
Seaside Spray ink pad
Stampin Blends - Smoky Slate, Seaside Spray
HOW TO
STEP 1: Fold card base on the score lines, folding the half flap toward the inside.
STEP 2: Layer the Seaside on the outer flap and on the inside of the card base.
STEP 3: Stamp your snowman on the inside layer of Whisper White, and your greetings with Memento for the Snowman and Seaside Spray for the greetings. Stamp the envelope and the top flap snowman with Memento Ink and colour to your taste.
STEP 4: Apply a bit of Snowfall Accents Puff Paint to the top layer of the outside, where you will want to have your punched out snowman. Heat the Puff paint.
STEP 5: Punch out your snowman, punch out the arms of scrap wood DSP and adhere to the card front.
STEP 6: Adhere the foil DSP to the inside flap and punch about ¼ of a circle to allow removal of gift card.
