MERRY CHRISTMAS RIBBON CARD

What a great idea it was to have a ribbon with Merry Christmas already on it. This card is one of the two we are making at the Simple Stamping Class for Christmas, and the ribbon will also be used for my next class where we will make several fun gift tags.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set

  • 1 piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, measuring 8-½” x 5-½” scored fat 4-¼”

  • 2 pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock, measuring 5-¼” x 4”

  • 1 piece of Brightly Gleaming Designer Series paper, cut at 2” x 5-¼” and one strip of 4 x ½” for the inside.

  • 1 length of the Classic weave ribbon measuring approximately 8 inches, cut so that the Merry Christmas can show up completely beside the punched copper circle.

  • 1 piece of Copper Foil paper measuring 3 x 3 to punch out a 2-½ Circle and 1 piece of Copper foil to punch out the Christmas Tree.

  • 1 piece of Mossy Meadow measuring 2-¾ x 2-¾” to punch a 2-¼” Circle

  • Pine Tree Punch

  • 1 Very Vanilla Envelope.

HOW TO

STEP 1: Fold your Mossy Meadow Card base and set aside.

STEP 2: Use one of the Very Vanilla pieces and stamp your greeting for the inside of the card. Adhere the ½ inch strip of Designer Paper on the side of your choice. You can also stamp a Christmas tree on this layer and on the envelope.

STEP 3: On the outside layer of Very Vanilla, adhere your piece of Designer Series Paper. Then, adhere the ribbon to cover the entire front, leaving one complete Merry Christmas, to the right of the card.

STEP 4: On the Copper Circle, glue the smaller Mossy Meadow Circle. Punch out the Christmas Tree and adhere to the Mossy Meadow with Stampin Dimensionals.

STEP 5: Decorate your envelope.
