MERRY AND BRIGHT GIFT CARD HOLDER
It’s difficult to find the perfect gift for everyone on our list. Sometimes, the best gift is a gift card to a store that the person particularly likes, so they can pick their own. It also makes long distance gift giving a breeze. Here is a nice gift card holder that is made with love and holds the perfect gift for everyone on your list.
WHAT YOU NEED
Basic Black card stock cut 11 x 4-¼”, scored at : 3’ - 6” - 7” and 8”
1 piece of Basic black card stock measuring 8” x 1”, scored at 3” and 6-¼”
3 pieces of shiny Designer Series Paper measuring 4 x 2-¾.
2 pieces of Whisper White card stock, measuring 4 x 2-¾”
One piece of scrap Whisper White 5-½ x 2 to punch out your circle with the sentiment.

Silver Glimmer paper, punched with 1-¾” scalloped circle punch.

HOW TO
STEP 1: Fold your black cardstock on all score lines. The one inch scoreline fold on the inside instead of the outside, to create the slot for the gift card.
STEP 2: Fold the area for the gift card and punch about a quarter of a circle from the folded cardstock. Use tear and tape to glue the edges together on both sides of the gift card. Use scissors to cut the top part, to insert the gift card when all is done.
STEP 3: Do all your stamping. Stamp the wish on the scrap Whisper White paper. Stamp your small greeting for the inside, with the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set (snowflakes and greeting).
STEP 4: Do all your punches. Punch the stars below the Merry Christmas, punch the greeting with the circle punch. With the corner rounder. round the corners of the Whisper White card pieces, and the Designer Paper pieces.
STEP 5: Adhere all the decorative pieces to the inside and outside flaps of the gift card holder. Adhere your White greeting to the Glimmer scalloped circle with Dimensionals.
STEP 6: Fold the belly band and adhere the flap with Tear and Tape (it is stronger). With the seam facing you, stick the washi tape to the belly band. Adhere the Scalloped circle with the greeting where the seam is, so it will not show. Slip the belly band around your gift card holder.
