I LOVE YOU VALENTINE GIFT BOX

This month’s Stamp Camp 3D item is a cute little Valentine Gift Box that says I LOVE YOU. We will be filling it with little scented tea lights, but you can certainly fill it with whatever chocolate treat or other little gift you wish.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Cherry Cobbler Cardstock : 1 piece measuring 3-3/3” x 8-¼” and one piece measuring 5” x 6”

  • Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper : 1 piece cut at 5-5/16” x 1-½”

  • One piece of Petal Pink Cardstock : 3 x 3 to cut your first layer of the bigger heart

  • One piece of Whisper White Cardstock 2-½” x 2-½” to stamp and cut the smaller hear and 1 piece of ¾ inch by 4” to die-cut the sentiment.

  • One length of Petal Pink ¼” ribbon, to make a pretty little bow.

  • Tear and Tape adhesive (stronger to hold the box.

HOW TO

STEP 1: Score the bottom piece of the box on the portrait side at ½”, 1-⅛”, 2-⅝” and 3-¼”

Score on the landscape side at ½”, 1-⅛”, 7-⅛” and 7-¾”

STEP 2: Score the top of the box (that the bottom will slide into. On the portrait side (5” side) at ⅝”, 2-¼”, 2-⅞” and 4-½” After all the scores are done, burnish them with your bone folder so they are nice and crisp

STEP 3: Cut the excess tabs at the end as shown.

STEP 4: Centre and adhere the Designer Series Paper on the top of the box.

STEP 5: Fold both pieces and place Tear and Tape to hold it firmly.

STEP 6: Stamp the heart image on the Whisper White Cardstock, and the sentiment on the narrow strip.

STEP 7: Die cut the Petal Pink larger heart and the stamped Whisper White heart as well as the banner at the same time.

STEP 8: Tie a bow with the Petal Pink ribbon and use a glue dot to stick it on the White heart.

STEP 9: Use Dimensionals to stick your heart to the box and fill the box with the tea lights.
