GRACE'S GARDEN GATEWAY CARD
This card is inspired by the one in the 2020 January-June mini catalogue. I am really happy with the result. I think this bundle may have been overshadowed by some others in the catalogue, but it is absolutely gorgeous.

HOW TO
STEP 1: Fold and score the base of the card.
STEP 2: Position the top layer on the unfolded base front and place the opening die on both,, securing it with washi tape or gorilla tape. Run through the Big Shot. Cut a frame from the Gorgeous Grape layer, so you can keep the inside piece for another card. Make sure you have enough margin to position your top layer and let it show through.
STEP 3: Cut out your gateway from the Very Vanilla piece, by running it though the Big Shot. Don’t cut the gate just yet.
STEP 4: Stamp all the flowers you want to use on scrap paper and on the inside of the card with Sahara Sand Ink to give it a watercolour look when you colour it in with markers. Stamp your greeting on the inside, making sure you are within the opening of the top layer. (Tick mark with pencil to see the rounded edge of the gate) . If you want a sharper outline for the flowers, stamp with Stazon (the markers are water-based). Colour them with markers. Die-cut the ones for the front of the card.
STEP 5: Run the top Sahara Sand layer in the Brick and Mortar Embossing Folder. Gently wipe the Craft Stamp pad on the bricks to give them a weathered look.
STEP 6: Assemble the card. Layer the Gorgeous Grape on the base. Line up the openings of the base and the top layer, adhere with glue or Snail adhesive. Position the gateway over the opening and adhere with glue. Position the die cut flowers where you want them and adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the Old Olive die-cuts with glue so some peek through the opening.
STEP 7: Cut the gate in the centre to create the opening.
