BERRY BLESSINGS BLUEBERRY CARD

Of all the berries, I think blueberries are my favourite. I fell in love with the Designer Series Paper and Berry Blessings Stamp set that you can get for FREE during Sale-A-Bration 2021, until the end of February. So I’ve been playing around with it and this is the first card I want to share.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Night of Navy Cardstock -Base of 4-¼ x 11 scored at 5-½”; 1 piece of 4-¼” x 2-3/4” (100867)

• Granny Apple Green Cardstock - 2 pieces of 5-¼ x 4” (146990)

• Whisper White (or Basic White) Inside piece of 3-¾” x 5” and top layer of 2-½” x 4” (100730) this may have been replaced with Basic White cardstock

• Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper: 1 piece of 4” x 3-½” and two small strips of 4 x ½” (157613 bundled with stamp set)

• Berry Blessings Stamp Set (157613)

• Sweet Strawberry Stamp set (for the greeting) (154394)

• Whisper White Linen Ribbon (retired) you can also use any other Whisper White, Night of Navy or Granny Apple Green ribbon.

• Wrapped in Texture Embossing folder (153574) .

• Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

HOW TO:

Step 1: On the top Whisper White layer, stamp a greeting on the bottom corner with Night of Navy Ink. Stamp the outline of the leaf with Garden Green and the inside of the leaf with Granny Apple Green. Then stamp the blueberry outline in Night of Navy and the inside in Pacific Point (which matches the DSP). Stamp your greeting on the inside Whisper White layer.

Step 2: Set aside and fold the base piece of the Night of Navy cardstock. Then take one of the pieces of the Granny Apple Green and emboss the bottom with the Wrapped in Texture embossing folder. Take the piece of DSP. Line it up with the top of the Granny Apple Green piece and adhere. Add the ribbon on the seam of the DSP with the embossed section. Adhere to the top of the Night of Navy base.

Step 3: Adhere the narrow strips of DSP to the top and bottom of the inside layer of Whisper White. Cut off any excess by turning your WW piece. Adhere to the Granny Apple Green layer and adhere that to the Night of Navy base. Finish it off by adhering the blueberry small layer to the small Night of Navy. Add several Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Night of Navy, center it on the top of the card and adhere.
