#SIMPLESTAMPING IN PARIS!

No, the title doesn’t mean that I am in Paris, except in my happy place, in my craft room. I just love this Parisian Beauty Stamp Set. Stay tuned for more cards using it and the coordinating die set. This is a very simple card that was inspired by a Jackie Bultje during her OnStage presentation, last November. It is simple because it only uses stamps, ink and paper (and a little ribbon), but packs a WOW factor in my opinion. I CASEd her creation and changed the colours to make them soft and feminine.

If you do not have a demonstrator and you live in Canada, I would be happy to be your demonstrator. To order, simply click on any of the items below or go to my online store.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Pool Party Cardstock cut at 4-¼” x 11 and scored at 5-½” and 1-½” x 4-1/4

  • Petal Pink Cardstock cut at 4 x 5-¼” for the layer

  • Whisper White cut at 3-314” x 5 for the top layer, 4 x 5-¼” for the inside greeting, and 4 x 1-¼” for the strip of your greeting

  • Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon

  • Parisian Beauty Stamp Set (151466)

  • Petal Pink, Pool Party and Smoky Slate Classic Ink Pads

  • Medium White Envelope

HOW TO

STEP 1: On your white layer, start stamping randomly, using the biggest image (the Eiffel Tower) first. Then fill in the gaps alternating colours. Don’t forget to clean your stamps before you change colours so you don’t smear your ink pads. Stamp your inside layer with the greeting and images you like.

STEP 2: Stamp your greeting on the strip of Whisper White, a little to the right, to leave room for the bow.

STEP 3: Adhere a small piece of ribbon behind the strip of your greeting. Use an Insta Bow Maker to make your bow (or do it by hand) and adhere the bow to the ribbon.

STEP 4: Adhere the front layer to the Petal Pink layer and the Petal Pink to the folded base of the card. Adhere your inside layer.

STEP 5: Finish it off with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and apply the strip with the greeting to the front of your card.
