SIMPLE BUT STUNNING SLIMLINE CARD - EXPRESSIONS IN INK
The Expressions in Ink collection is one of the highlights of the new annual catalogue for 2021-2022. It is on the cover page for a reason: it is absolutely stunning! The Artistically Inked stamp set recreates the ephemeral colour splotches that look fabulous, no matter what colour you choose. I decided to give the Designer Series Paper the spotlight on this card, so gave it a bigger surface to shine.
WHAT YOU NEED
EXPRESSIONS IN INK SPECIALTY DSP 155464 12 X 12 (30,5 X 30,5) cut to 3-¼” x 8”
Polished Pink cardstock 155710 : 2 pieces cut at 3-½” x 8-¼”
Basic White Thick cardstock 159229 cut 7-½” x 8-½” for the base
Basic White cardstock cut at 3-¼” x 8” for the inside layer and small piece of ¾ x 4 for the top greeting.
Gold Foil sheets 132622 for the tag on the front of the card (scrap of 4 x 1”)

HOW TO
Layer your Designer Series Papier on the Polished Pink and then add to the card base.
Layer the Polished Pink on the inside of the card base.
On the piece of Basic White, ink up the “splotch” stamp with Polished Pink Ink, apply to the bottom of the layer. Ink your greeting and stamp your small piece for the outside. Use the stamp of your choice for the inside greeting.
Using the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack, pull out some leaves and ornaments to add to the front of your card, under your greeting.
Wrap a bit of thread or Simply Elegant Trim to add under the greeting.
Add some Gems or Gold glitter dots to the front
Stick your layered greeting to the front of the card.
Decorate your envelope.
