PACKING A PUNCH!

What a wonderful weekend it was, celebrating birthdays with my family. I can’t believe it has been 15 years since this kid came into the world. My grandson Émerick just turned 15 on Sunday and we went for a nice brunch together to celebrate.

He’s been a busy guy over the past year with stellar grades in school, championship soccer tournaments, a lovely girlfriend and a new job. To underscore his new status as an employee, I made him a card related to his new job at the burger restaurant owned by a Mascouche family for over 35 years, Le Coin du Hamburger.

I used a bit of the InColor DSP, in Terracotta tile to make the napkin, and oval punches to make the bun, meat and tomato, a scallop punch to make the lettuce and a square punch with Mango Melody to add a slice of cheese. As for the fries, crinkled are always better, so I used some retired Delightful Dijon and the corrugated 3D embossing folder.

I think it packs a punch - there is so much you can do with these punches that I never knew, until I tried.

A cool card for a cool dude !
