ALCOHOL AND STAMPIN' BLENDS: A PERFECT MATCH!
Don’t be fooled by the title, I’m not suggesting having a drink while you craft, although if it suits you, go right ahead.
This week, I wanted to share a technique that provides a surprise with every card. It uses 99% rubbing alcohol and Stampin’ Blends. Your creativity is limitless with this technique as you try different colour combinations and patterns to your design. Use a full sheet or a strip to add interest to any project.

HOW TO
Using Stampin’ Blends, colour a full quarter sheet of Vellum cardstock. Alternate different colours in random order on your sheet. Fill in all the space.
Take a brush and dip it in alcohol. Apply the alcohol randomly on your coloured vellum. Let dry completely (several hours or overnight, to make sure it is very dry).
Adhere the vellum to the Granny Apple Green layer, using glue dots under where you will be positioning your gold laser cut paper. You can also use a sponge and Multipurpose glue behind the vellum.
Adhere the Gold Laser Cut piece on your vellum layer with glue dots.
After preparing your surface with the Embossing Buddy (or another similar tool), stamp your greeting on the small Very Vanilla with Versamark. Add embossing powder and heat emboss using the heat tool.
Stamp your greeting on the inside of your card.
Adhere the layers to the card base.
Decorate your envelope.
