ACCORDION CARD WITH LOVELY LILYPAD

If you are like me, you find it hard to resist beautiful Designer Series Paper. If there were a 12 step program for paper hoarders, I might need to attend. But I decided that this week’s project would use up some of that beautiful paper. This time, I chose the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper, that you can get for FREE with a $60 purchase, during SALE-A-BRATION. You can use any 12 x 12 DSP and stamp set for this accordion design.

This could qualify as a #simplestamping card if you don’t add the die-cut, but I wanted to use them, since they are so pretty (and also FREE).

HOW TO

STEP 1: Score and fold your Designer Series Paper at 4-¼, 7-¼ and 10-¼” When you score, make sure your paper is on the right side so you don’t have flowers upside down.

STEP 2: Do all your stamping on the three layers of Whisper White with Flirty Flamingo and Pretty Peacock. Use Flirty Flamingo for the flowers on all three layers and the Pretty Peacock for the sentiments and Lilypad on the front.

STEP 3: Adhere your Whisper White layers to the Pretty Peacock card stock

STEP 4: Assemble the card - bigger layer to the base; center the middle layer with the base layer to leave an even border all around. Line up the right corners of the top layer to the middle layer to make sure it covers it. Adhere by putting your tombow glue or SNAIL on the Designer Series Paper to ensure there is no extra glue on the card stock layers.

STEP 5: Die cut the biggest flower die from the Lily Pad dies from a scrap piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock

and adhere over the stamped image of the flower. Add three Rhinestone Jewels using your take your pick tool.
