FRIENDS ARE LIKE SEASHELLS DOUBLE Z CARD

This week’s fancy fold uses one of my favourite stamp sets from the January-June 2021 mini-catalogue, Friends are like Seashells, from the Sand & Sea Suite. Follow the video to see all the steps to this fancy fold, that is really simple to put together. 

WHAT YOU NEED

·      Friends are like Seashells Bundle 156205

·      Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper 154288

•    2 pieces of 4 x 2-1/2” and 1 piece of 5-1/4 x 4”

·      Seabed 3D Embossing Folder 152700

·      Memento Stamp Pad 132708

·      Blushing Bride Cardstock 131198

o   4-1/4” x 11” (base)

o   3-1/2” x 9-3/4” (inside Z)

·      Melon Mambo Cardstock 115320

o   4” x 3-1/4” (top layer)

o   3-1/4 x 2-1/2” (inside Z)

·      Basic White Cardstock

o   2-1/2” x 3-1/4”

o   3” x 3-3/4”

o   Scraps to stamp seashell die-cuts

HOW TO

·      Score and fold the Blushing Bride base at 5-1/2 and 2-3/4”

·      Score and fold the smaller Blushing Bride piece at 5-1/2 and 2-3/4”

·      Adhere your Designer Series paper to the base with adhesive or multipurpose glue

·      Run the smaller Melon Mambo in the Seabed Embossing Folder and adhere to the middle fold of the inside Z

·      Stamp your greeting on the top Basic white layer and stamp the inside greeting on the smaller layer (make sure you have it on the correct side – vertically) Stamp and die-cut your seashells for the top layer.

·      Adhere your White layer to the Melon Mambo and the result to the larger Z fold layer.

·      Adhere the wider layer to the flap of the base, making sure you don’t exceed the flap with the adhesive. Fold and place adhesive on the other end of the inside Z panel and fold the card over it. 

·      Decorate the front panel with your die-cut seashells and decorate your envelope.
